I felt I was spoken as a child, it was polite but really my real concern was dismissed as if I am not smart enough to understand. I felt truly- truly upset leaving.

Considering it was a dentist appointment, I had a lovely experience.

Stay away from Skerries Smile Hub if you are a nervous patient. This was the worst dental experience I have had — and I have had many. I booked an emergency appointment yesterday afternoon; although everything ran smoothly, I didn’t have to wait this morning and the clinic itself is modern and clean, I will not be returning. Dr Laura Fee was extremely cold and dismissive, showing no empathy throughout the appointment. At the very beginning I clearly explained that the right side of my face was swollen and that I was in severe pain, yet she proceeded to push a metal device into my mouth for a local X-ray, completely disregarding how painful this was for me. The local X-ray proved impossible due to the pain, so she eventually carried out a full jaw X-ray instead. After barely 30 seconds of examination, she insisted that my wisdom tooth needed to be removed, without taking the time to properly listen or explain alternatives. The extraction itself was quick, but again carried out with no empathy at all, despite me clearly stating that I am a nervous patient. She did prescribe medication, but stated that I should only take painkillers because I was “not swollen,” which was not true — since yesterday I have had noticeable swelling of my gums, tongue, and jaw. I do not recommend a doctor whose focus on efficiency seems to outweigh basic patient care and compassion; a basic course in bedside manner would be greatly beneficial.

I recently tried Smile Hub. I called before booking online to ensure I booked the correct procedure. When I arrived the dentist didn’t listen to anything I wanted done. I spent an hour getting X-rays and a look in my mouth to take all my details. And was told I would need another visit. This took my PRSI visit and nothing was done! Money hungry & such a waste of my time!

As a very nervous patient I was treated with the best of care and left a very happy customer. Excellent Dentist.

Excellent experience, Dr Ibriham Elmasri. I got an urgent appointment as my normal dentist doesn’t work weekends. Dr Elmasri explained everything very clearly and made the process very easy. 100% would go back if ever needed.

As a nervous patient I very much appreciate the calm environment, no waiting around and Dr. Laua Fee is an angel.

I have the impression that all the doctors are looking after my best. My money! Sell more to the customer! Not customer first!

Everything Ok

I attended an emergency appointment in Skerries 18/12/2025 and it was a horrific experience. I have been to many dentists in my lifetime and have never witnessed anything like the pain I had to endure and ended up having to go to a dental Surgeon to have what was left of the tooth removed this morning. No stars from me.
