I had to get a bad wisdom tooth removed that was causing extreme pain. My first visit was a Wednesday, I got rebooked in for that Friday. Within 24 minutes my tooth was out under local anesthetic. I 100% recommend Pierre Karam, he made a scary time so fast and easy. Every team member made me feel so safe. I was so scared and anxious my whole body was vibrating, but there was no need for that worry as I was definitely in safe hands. Not even 24 hours later and I feel almost back to my old self. Thanks to everyone at shields dental in castletroy.

I always have a positive and professional experience when I go to Shields. The practice is so much more modern than my previous dentist, now retired. Dr Raz, now my regular dentist, is so friendly and thorough. I also got an Occlusal Splint which has helped hugely with reducing my migraines so thank you very much to Cormac for suggesting this treatment for me and explaining in detail about how it works and answering all my questions. I was able to pay for the splint in separate installments and Dr Beatrice now maintains my splint, she is so friendly too!

It was a excellent experience from start to finish. I always dreaded the dentist and after my first session with Shields I was more at ease. What I loved was after my consultation, they gave me three estimate prices of different ways to achieve my smile. This allowed me to choose which option would suit my budget. Dr Ahmed was the dentist that worked on my teeth and he was outstanding. Very professional and really listens to the patient. I have never been happier with my teeth and would highly recommend Shields dental clinic to anyone.

I had a very positive experience for it being my first time at the dentist in 5 years. The dentist and nurse were absolutely super and I was completely at ease for the whole appointment.The receptionist Sydney was very helpful and knowledgeable when I asked her questions about claiming with my insurance and booking future appointments. As someone who previously dreaded the idea of a dentist appointment I look forward to my next appointment at Sheilds.
