Very helpful staff. I rang for an emergency appointment and was able to get one for the same week. Dentist and nurse were both very informative and put me at ease straight away. The reception staff were very accommodating when it came to book my next appointment. 100% would recommend to a friend

Great service. I was in recently with a toothache and was seen by a dentist who was very helpful. Gill helped by booking me in for my treatment plan. The friendly attitude helped put my mind at ease.

Wonderful staff who made us all feel at ease . From the initial booking thru to consultation and treatment we felt our concerns from lack of dental treatment over covid were assessed and understood . Kelly was particularly helpful , she made contact with us a number of times to keep us up to date on our experience . We can happily recommend the whole Shields Team !

My daughter Olivia has been for a hygiene appointment. She is only 7 and is super comfortable and relaxed in the dentist chair. Really helps in encouraging her to look after her teeth and attend future appointments with ease.

I am visiting the Ashdown Centre regularly for hygienic treatment too. I was always very nervous before i found this practice because of the needles to be used for anaesthetics. Since I found this dental practice, I do not have to worry about my fear of needles anymore. Dr Sandra has magic hands and I hardly notice when she is using those needles, it is done before I could think of it. Amazing job, excellent service, no queues or long waiting, very friendly atmosphere.
I feel very lucky to be a customer here❤🌺🌻🌼🥰

I’m usually quite a nervous patient when it comes to a dental visit and when the time of my appointment came the girls in reception were very caring and said there’s nothing to worry about and ensured you felt comfortable going into surgery room. I had to get my two upper wisdom teeth removed and this treatment was done by Dr. Pierre and honestly I couldn’t recommend Dr.Pierre enough. Him and his nurse Aine kept asking questions if I was doing ok, or if I was in pain. The whole procedure was done super quick that I couldn’t believe I felt no pain and it was all done before I knew it. I had no problems after the treatment i.e., no infections etc., it all heeled very well with no complications. Therefore, once again couldn’t recommend enough!

Have just recently switched to Shields as my own hygienist never came back after the first covid lockdown. Kathy is so good, she is so reassuring and has great patience with me.
