Shields Dental & Implant Clinic, South Circular Road

My treatment is currently half way through. So far it has been really fantastic. All queries addressed promptly, appointments easily facilitated and Dr. Robert is a brilliant support throughout the process.

I neglected my teeth significantly when I was younger, ultimately lived to regret it and was always shy and self-conscious upon smiling. I needed a lot of work done subsequently to restore my teeth to their full. Thanks to the team at Shields I now have a beautifully restored smile, and I just can't stop smiling.

All of the team that I dealt with were very thorough and professional to deal with. They really do work very hard to get to the bottom of whatever issue you may have. A special thanks to Dr. Beatrice for the brilliant job she did on my teeth. My smile has never looked so good.

As a result, I would highly recommend Shields for their excellent and world class service.

Went to Shields Dental & Implant Clinic with a number of dental issues and all have been resolved brilliantly. The Dental Clinic is very modern and bright. All of the staff are both professional and friendly. I rate Shields Dental & Implant Clinic as excellent and award it 5 stars.

Was nervous about the dentist but I soon settled, as you walk in it doesn’t even feel like you are in a dentist surgery. It’s lovely and so are all of the staff and the coordinator that chatted to me was so helpful, thank you again.

Absolutely delighted with the treatment I received at Shields Dental Clinic. I was told by another dentist I had been seeing for years that I needed root canal treatment on a painful tooth and was referred on to a specialist only to be told there was no appointment available for four months! Two courses of antibiotics later I was fed up and exhausted so Istarted an Internet search and found Shields. I rang on a Friday and they saw me on the next Monday morning and started treatment immediately. They were all so kind as I was quite upset at that stage. There was absolutely no pain and the root canal and crown are now finished. The staff are all so friendly and kind . I highly recommend Shields.

I would give this place more then 5 stars! To all the staff dentists/nurses/ receptions/ treatment Co ordinators, Owners, every staff member are an absolute pleasure to deal with, they are so understanding/kind/helpful and caring.i have never met such nice people.
The professionalism is top quality. Both practice is like home, it's so cosy and so comfortable, makes you feel relaxed. So far I have dealt with Dr Ahmed Fahmy he is a true gentleman so caring and understanding and brilliant towards nervous patients. I am absolutely thrilled is an understatement to be getting a smile make over by such wonderful staff, and everything you need can be provided within one building.
I wish I found this place awhile back.

Well what will I say, went to the dentist and enquired what options would I have for getting implants and lucky enough Anne D said that Dr Sheilds was in Roscrea the coming Friday and would she put me in. And it started from there January right through September I got seven implants Mr Magher was the guy that steered me from the start. Didn't have any problems at all. Thanks to all involved for a remarkable journey. Anyone thinking about going for it you won't regret it, I haven't.

I would be quite nervous of dentists and I must say from day one I was put completely at ease. All the staff were wonderful and a pleasure to deal with.

My wife and I have been in and out of Shields this year. Having neglected ourselves dentally during the Covid lock-downs, we found we needed a number of things straightened out.

They're very efficient - appointments are all booked out well in advance with text message reminders in advance. The only phone call I had to make was to set up our very 1st appointment.

Everyone we dealt with has also been extremely thorough. In our experience, they really do try to get to the bottom of things before starting you down the road of any dental treatment. All our questions were also answered very informatively, which is great if you're like me and you want to understand what's going on in your mouth.

A big thank you to C for his work on my grinding problem (which is not something I knew of or that I was guilty of), my jaw muscles & bite feel better now than ever before.

Our TCO Kelly Wallace was excellent and a pleasure to deal with. Shields offers and outstanding service for all our dental needs whether it be a check up/cleaning or actual procedures all are taken care of in the most professional manner.

I would definitely recommend Shields dental clinic. The staff were kind and helpful. I felt at ease from the minute I arrived. Dr Chris is an excellent Dentist, very patient and professional. He listened to what I wanted and provided me with great results. I will definitely be using shields dental clinic in the future. God Bless your hands Chris.

I'm in the middle of my treatment with Gen and Aga, and despite the discomfort of braces, I look forward to each appointment because the whole team are just so pleasant and welcoming. The confidence I already have in my smile is massive and I cannot wait for the final result. Gen is an magician!
