Relaxed and professional dentistry
I had a "6 month smiles" treatment in Shields in Castletroy with Dr Robert Hardy. The whole process was easy and relaxed. The price was actually quite reasonable considering the hours put in by the staff and the super after care,
I have had several after visits which have been free. I hadn't expected this at all.
The clinic has a nice casual but professional feel. I'm not so nervous about dentistry but I can see that the style of the clinic is much more styled on an aesthetic clinic rather than a hospital, Which gives the whole experience a more relaxed feel.
I do recommend it to people. Dentistry has come a long way in the last few years and I think this clinic is embracing this fact.

Saturday the 17th of April, I got my wisdom tooth extracted with dr. Ahmed. I cannot tell you enough how happy I am with the treatment. It was not painful at all and I did not even have to take a pain killer post extraction. I highly recommend this practice and dr. Ahmed.

Delighted with my implants
After Conor explained it and went through my implants treatment plan I felt more relaxed, less anxious and at the end of the day it was a pleasant experience really.

I would highly recommend Shields Dental. Dr Cormac and Dr Pierre were a pleasure to deal with and the girls in reception and dental nurses were so helpful. I was having a couple of issues; needing wisdom teeth removed, a lot of plaque buildup and grinding my teeth at night. Everything was explained thoroughly and I was well looked after. The appointments were made to suit me and opening Sunday is a blessing. Also, as we are going through a pandemic, I felt safe in the clinic as it was spotless and all measures in place. Thank you Cormac, I'll be seeing you again.

Before I went to Shields dental I had a lot of issues with my teeth. After meeting Shruta and the team I was in excellent care. Over the course of a year I went from being a very nervous patient who was very unhappy with his smile to one who was extremely happy with his smile and is no longer afraid of dentists. If you choose Shields dental you will be in excellent hands!!!
