If you advertise as opening on Sundays, then do it. Or at the very least answer your phones. This would save people driving across the city to you to be faced with a locked door and no way of making contact.

The place is TOP CLASS! I'd like to recommend especially Dr. Robert Hardy.

Very professional service.

After experiencing trauma to my mouth in an accident, I found Shields Dental in an emergency on a Sunday morning. Sleep deprived and traumatised, I was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Dr. Joseph Griffin. As someone who is not a fan of dental visits, I was immediately put at ease and walked through exactly what the plan of action was by Joe who also took the time to stand back and actually listen to my worries. Months down the line and several appointments on - I'm just as pleased with each visit - although I'd say I should be charged double at this stage for the counselling sessions I receive from Dr. Joseph !!!! He's worth his weight in gold - I massively appreciate it. Sandra o Riordan the super hygienist is also a treasure - most empathetic lady I've met in a while. Lovely girls on reception and telephones also. A difficult time for me was certainly made easier here at Shields Dental Clinic.  Don't hesitate to allow these people sort any of your dental worries out. Fab,modern,cheerful clinic also - helps in the distraction of any nerves you may have.

Fully recommend, the staff is professional and knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable. 5*service and nice interiors!

My son had some work done here as his first visit to a dentist which carried some anxiety but Dr.Hardy and each assistant did a great job of making him feel relaxed and welcome. work needed was clearly explained after consultation and the best way to go about treatment considering they were dealing with a young child. very patient and explained everything as we went along, very kid friendly, little play room for kids while you wait, nice and clean environment throughout.and high quality of dentistry was performed during each visit, Receptionists were very polite and professional. affordable pricing and appointments are convenient with it being open on weekends. Parking is close to the building and usually there's a few spaces available. All in all I'd recommend to anyone but especially for young kids. My 5 year old no longer has any fear or anxiety about the dentist having been through a pleasant experience. 10/10

Highly recommend Shields for working on teenagers & kids

I visited several dentists in Ennis but they always tried to send me to another place because of the difficulties of the treat I needed for my long and banded roots, several crowns and protesis I have. This time I needed a quite complicated root canal treat on my eye tooth. I met Dr Joseph after a short internet search and i have to tell that it was my best experience in my dental history ever! His confidence, professionalism and encouridgement made me overcome my fear and anxiety, the equipment he used are so modern and all staff members are very helpful and accommodating.
Dr Joseph did a fantastic job and gave me great advises. I keep in touch with the clinic for check up eversince and i will definitely use this excellent service in the future.

I attended with a very nervous 8 year old to have a filling, both of us were having a filling. I cannot over emphaise enough how patient, understanding and helpful Dr. Joseph and Carolina were with my son, who was visibly shaking from head to toe on the chair with nerves. Dr Joseph communicated very clearly and directly with my son, and used a thought exercise very successfully to relax him. I had also brought a pair of headphones (suggestion by a friend) which I connected to my phone to help and also they had an overhead TV with cartoons to distract if needed. But the TV ws not needed because, once the anesthetic was administered, the relax exercise worked and my son had his eyes closed, listening to the music on the headphones. Job done, tooth filled happy all round.
Oh I had a filling as well, which went very well too!!

I cannot recommend them highly enough

I recently was fitted for a splint and had the calibration treatment completed for clinching of teeth. I can honestly say I saw a benefit straight away once the calibration was completed and once I started using the splint the additional benefits i saw within 24 hours. I know the cost of this treatment can be daunting however Cormac did a great job and I can't recommend it enough.

I have tried many dentists over the years but Shields are by far the best dentists in Limerick city. Went in at first with a emergency but have since gotten a bit of work done over the past two years. Would highly recommend them.

All Shields' staff are friendly, in particular, the receptionist, Jill. She was helpful when it came to making appointments which were convenient.

Cormac was my dentist and he explained each procedure clearly in advance so I knew what to expect for my next appointment.

Customer parking is quite convenient.

First-class service from start to finish and they did exactly what they said they would do.
