three words come to mind when it comes to The Dental Practice , friendliness , gentleness and professionalism. I would highly recommend this dental practice for any service from dental hygiene to extractions to braces and dentures.
The team that work here keep you at ease throughout your service and give excellent aftercare advise and treatments. My son had top and bottom braces in and he was very well looked after throughout the service, Thank you so much to Dr.Terry and all the team. An excellent result.

I have been battling with TMJ Dysfunction for years and it wasn't until I came to the Clinic back in February that I finally got to make real progress.
At that time I was at the end of the line, suffering from chronic pain for years, almost daily migraine-type symptoms. My severe intense sharp pain attacks as well as sensitivity to light and certain sounds was making life unbearable; it was looking like I wouldn't be able to continue working.
Thankfully, a work colleague recommended me to go to see Cormac who gave me a Lucia Jig, a diagnostic device, which gave me instant relief. With this we were confident that a splint and some dental work would fix things. Thankfully, it has and I have been pain free since, I am able to get a good night's sleep, the same light and sounds do not bother me and I certainly do no not miss the migraine symptoms.

The welcome and care at the Clinic is second to none.

I've been attending this Dental practice for many years . My Dentist is Anne Maire.
My whole experience with Anne Maire from beginning to end is always very professional, reassuring with a calm atmosphere at all times. All the staff are superb.The receptionists Anne and Eoin are always friendly and welcoming .

As a very nervous patient I had been putting off going to the dentist for a long time ,my old veneers needed to come off and a new set to be put on . After a consultation with Cormac he gave me options that I had never even thought possible with veneers! From start to finish I cannot rate shields highly enough from reception to the hygienist's ,after care team and Cormac ,my only regret is not having gone there sooner , thank you shield's from a very happy smilier customer �

Cormac and Conor are expert at what they do. The patient is put completely at ease and the staff are really efficient -you are never left waiting for an appointment.
I was treated for bruxism or teeth grinding after my own dentist referred me 2 years ago. I received a customised bite guard and this really reduced my headaches and grinding. I also had some cosmetic dentistry carried out and the results were excellent.

Highly recommend Shields Dental Clinic. The whole team are extremely welcoming, reassuring and endlessly patient with this particularly anxious patient. The practice is extremely customer focused including a kiddies playroom, a relaxing waiting room with huge selection of magazines and coffee station. I am delighted with my new smile and the service I received.

MY SON AARON HAS BEEN A PATIENT SINCE HE WAS 4. 11 YEARS NOW. HE LOOKS FORWARD TO HIS CHECKUP AND CLEANING TWICE A YEAR. ALL THE STAFF WE MEET FROM RECEPTIONIST TO HYGIENIST AND CONOR AND CORMAC ARE VERY KIND AND PATIENT ESPECIALLY WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER BUT NOW HE DOESN'T MIND SEEING THE DENTIST OR GETTING AN XRAY. A VERY NICE ATMOSPHERE. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Had a few previous bad experiences with an old dentist and it had put me off going to one for a number of years. I needed to as a tooth had become really bad, the lads here were really good and well able to put me at ease. They gave me a number of options as to how we could sort the problem and we went from there
