As someone with an extreme phobia of the dentist, shields was the only clinic I could go to and my fears have almost subsided (still rather nervous when attending) but never have I ever been given such care and patience as in shields, the team did all they could to save my tooth and took me step by step. Thank you so much 😊

I have an overwhelming fear of dentists from trauma when I was a child, I found shields dental 4 years ago and was hesitant at first but I bit the bullet and went. I have had multiple things done here now from fillings to cleanings, root canals and extractions. Every dentist I’ve had at shields have been unbelievable dentists. From start to finish the care and comfort they offer is next level. The endodontist Fida, the general dentist Natasha, the hygienist and the dentist Raz have all been so welcoming and kind during my teeth journey. From start to finish the moment I walked in the door I have never had a bad interaction or experience, I trust these dentists to forever look after my teeth and I could not recommend it enough. I went from needed gas to sit through an appointment to getting a permanent crown fitted without any, I am still getting work done here and it will forever be my dentist of choice after trying so many before getting something done. The space is so clean and the reception staff are so lovely as well. I have so many good things to say about shields, it’s just an amazing dentist and they really go above and beyond for your care and comfort.

5 stars does not even begin to describe Dr Pierre Karam!

If I'm being honest I am giving 5 stars because of Dr Pierre Karam.
Every time I interacted with Dr Pierre I left incredibly happy. Oh I must not forget to mention Gillian, Also a pleasure to deal with!
Dr Pierre operated twice on me and on one occasion he changed his complete work plan for the day to accommodate me and my treatment due to a situation of my making and not his. He gave me his number and told me after surgery to contact him any time day or night if i was concerned.
He takes time to discuss all treatment options in detail leaving no questions unanswered to the point where I have complete trust in him.
Dr Pierre listens intently to everything I say and always remembers our previous discussions. This for me is probably the most important point in why I think so highly of him.
Since starting my treatment with Dr Pierre we have moved out of the country and I hate the fact that I am unable to complete my treatment with Dr Pierre.
I am widely travelled and I can honestly say that I never met a more caring, diligent, professional and simply all round great guy than Dr Pierre Karam.
If you have a chance to be under the care of my friend Dr Pierre I recommend you grab it with both hands immediately and you will not be disappointed.

My daughter recently completed her orthodontic treatment here, and while there were aspects of the process that could have been improved, we are overall pleased with the results. The journey had its ups and downs, as is common with such a lengthy treatment. However, what truly stood out was the clinic's response when my daughter needed new retainers due to an unfortunate holiday incident. They offered replacements at a very reasonable cost, which was not only unexpected but also greatly appreciated. This gesture has significantly restored my confidence in their care and commitment to their patients.

From start to finish everybody in Shield’s Dental were so nice and helpful especially Luca who looked after all my dental surgery.

I have had many dental treatments carried out by Shields Dental and it was all professionally done by an excellent friendly staff.

Fantastic staff, very professional and completely clear in what the procedure consisted of. Highly recommended.

My recent visits to Dr.Ahmed (For Clinical Examination and subsequent white filling) were both very positive experiences. As usual, he was very professional, and thorough and explained in detail the procedure required (White Filling - 3 Surf Posterior on Upper Left 6 - B O D) and the possible follow up action involving root canal treatment that may be required. Thankfully, the procedure went smoothly with no follow up visit necessary.

Very caring and understanding doctors. If you are late, they are very flexible and they make another appointment if you miss it.
