Ashgrove Dental Clinic

I'm a very nervous dental patient but both my dentist and hygienist in Ashgrove are very gentle and understanding. I really appreciate how they have helped to reduce my fear and anxiety.

I was absolutely impressed how nice staff are and Dr. Johnny, definitely the place I will go to back for all my treatments.

I contacted Ashgrove Dental Clinic as I was experiencing severe pain in a tooth I had a root canal filling a few years ago. (The original procedure was performed by another practice, not Ashgrove).
I rang on a Friday morning and had an appointment for the following Monday, just two days after my call. A prescription for painkillers was provided in case I needed them over the weekend, which helped manage the pain.
When I saw Dr. Johnny Fearon he examined my tooth, and x-rayed it. He said I had an infection, and discussed my options, which initially involved taking an antibiotic to clear the infection followed by a plan going forward.
Previously I’ve had other procedures at Ashgrove such as a wisdom tooth extraction, a root canal filling and a crown, and each time Dr. Fearon clearly explains all of the options available. He is always professional, empathic and understanding of my concerns and will regularly say “there is no need to experience pain or discomfort during a procedure, and if you experience any tell me and I will stop and sort it out” This really helps when I’m feeling a bit vulnerable and fragile about a dental procedure.
I’m always looked after so well at Ashgrove by all the staff and that means the world to me, especially when I’m not always at ease about going to the dentist.

As always a visit with Charlene is exceptional. She gives a thorough check of teeth, and gums discusses any issues and advises what is important aftercare to follow. You leave feeling so well looked after and your teeth have gotten the best clean.

I highly recommend this dentist especially if you are a bad nervous patient like myself. I had a lot to get done and I was offered to get everything done in the one day. I hesitated because I hate pain and needles but Johnny reassured me I was not going to be in pain. I went ahead with it and I could not thank them enough. Johnny and the 2 nurses were so kind and friendly they all made me feel so relaxed and at ease. I did not feel Any pain at all during the procedure and i am so happy with the result. First dentist i have ever been to that were so friendly and genuinely nice. I most definitely will be staying with this dentist for the future.

As as teenager I was told I couldn't get braces that it would involve getting my jaw broken (which they were not willing to do). Fast forward many years later, I attended a local dentist in Naas and to say he put the fear of god in me is an understatement. I wanted to get my teeth straightened but my fear was unbelievable I did my research and took my chances with Ashgrove Dental. I went for my first consult and immediately felt welcomed, relaxed and comfortable.
Johnny told me it could be done my teeth could be straightened so the work began. Got my palete expander for 8 weeks then my first fixture of my braces. The attention to detail from Johnny and all the girls was just incredible. So after a year and a half start to finish I finally got the teeth that I always longed for. I could not recommend highly enough especially if you are a nervous patient like me. I am now a regular. Thank you Ashgrove Dental. X

I went to Johnny for new front crowns and I am thrilled with the results. It wasn’t just a case of slapping on a fresh pair! We spent some time getting the gum line ready with temp crowns, ensuring the correct colour and shape. Very precise and dedicated work. The staff are all lovely and the clinic is of the highest standard. Also I never felt a moment of pain. Highly recommend. Thank you. Sally
