Shields Dental & Implant Clinic Blackrock, Dublin

I just had 2 wisdom teeth extracted by Dr Richard Carr and I have to say the experience of the procedure was hassle free and carried efficiently and professionally. Although not the easiest of operations to do my mouth was neatly stitched with little to no pain afterward and antibiotics/painkillers prescribed as needed. Would definitely recommend Shields Dental Clinic to anyone looking for routine dental work done.

Had a problem tooth removed last Thursday under sedation. Was immediately at ease with clear information before and after the surgery (having had a horrific experience elsewhere!!!). I highly recommend Shields.

I’ve been going to Shields for years now, first in Limerick and now in Blackrock. Always a thorough and considerate service and I really appreciate that they take the time to talk things through with you and explain what’s going on during each visit. Highly recommend.

I had decided in early 2023 that a new approach to my dental care would be very beneficial to me and as a regular shopper to the Frascati SC , the brand new dental clinic there had certainly caught my eye. And I am delighted to say I am now attending Shields. Everyone was so friendly and professional from Annmarie on the front desk to all the dental staff. I required an emergency appointment on a Friday and they made space for me which I was very grateful for. Dr Danielle gave me excellent care and I was very happy with the service and I would highly recommend Shields Dental Clinic to all. Location-wise, it is also very handy to park in the Frascati, attend Shields , and also get your bits n bobs done in the shopping centre. Thanks again to all at Shields . Greg

Attended Dr Danielle Kelly yesterday. Saw me at short notice. She immediately put me at ease, done a fantastic job on a damaged tooth. Took her time and explained everything in detail. She also has a great sense of humour and combines professionalism and the common touch effortlessly. Nurse and receptionist couldn't have been nicer. State of the art practice, competitive prices and a superb location. Highly recommend.

My Dad was in Ireland briefly and needed some emergency work done on his dentures. Danielle Kelly from Shields went above and beyond to help him out. Managed to squeeze us in at very short notice and make some adjustments. Really took her time explaining everything to him and gave him the peace of mind he needed as he's pretty new to dentures and his original dentist had not done a great job of explaining everything.

Could not recommend Shield Dental enough!

Yesterday I went to Shields in Blackrock to get oral surgery with IV sedation for my two lower wisdom teeth with Dr. Richard. He was very thorough on explaining the procedure to me and made me feel so at ease as I’m quite a nervous patient. Prior to this, I had a consultation, X-Ray, CT scan and an IV assessment. He went through everything with me and I couldn’t believe the knowledge he has.

I had an overall very pleasant experience and I can’t thank the team, including the nurses who looked after me and also the practice manager Annmarie enough!

Today, I also received two phone calls. One from Dr. Richard and one from Annmarie to see how I was feeling after the surgery. The care they give to their patients is outstanding and I would highly recommend going to this clinic.

I am also seeing Dr. Robert for Invisalign which I started a few months ago. And once again, the care and comfort I have received through my treatment has been amazing. I am already seeing huge results and I feel so much more confident with my smile already. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

They are one of the nicest dentists I have ever been to. Very clean and everyone was so nice. The only thing I can say is if you are an extremely nervous patient like myself the sedation they give you to calm you down does not work.

I called on Saturday morning as I was in pain for a few days I was treated by a lovely dentist and needed a filling this was all done on Saturday and I could enjoy my weekend.
