I found dealing with Ann-Marie and staff at shields to be a calm and supportive atmosphere. I had to have a tooth extraction but I have a huge fear and anxiety about dentists. Annmarie was so professional and calm and my tooth was out in minutes. I cannot thank them enough for helping me and helping me see that there is no need for fear anymore. Thank you Ann-Marie and staff I feel 100% better. Thank you.

Dr. Terry did my braces treatment, I had my braces for 3 and a half years. I was always looked after so well and had the most amazing experience. Terry, Ann and the rest of the staff at shields were always very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend getting your treatment done at shields roscrea.

Had an excellent visit with my son (7 yrs )recently to Dr Ahmed , he was so gentle with my son and thankfully was able to refer me onto him in his limerick clinic for gas sedation for my son as he was to nervous for to get the fissure sealants done in clinic that day

Yesterday was my first time visiting Roscrea and I cannot recommend Shields dental clinic enough … From Anne and Courtney in reception that were so welcoming and so kind to Chloe the TCO who ensured I was comfortable and answered all my questions … My dentist Annemarie who has been with the dental practice 22 years was so welcoming her nurse Mairead who was so polite and my hygienist Tendai who gave me a lot of advice on how to improve my oral hygiene routine ….
I would highly recommend Shields dental clinic to any person who may be nervous or just fearing the unknown to give them a visit you won’t regret it

I am currently receiving ortho dental treatment with Dr. Terry Farrelly and I couldn't ask for better treatment. As someone who was anxious about going to the dentist I have since overcame this and now feel so comfortable going in. All staff are so nice and welcoming especially at reception they are always so helpful and will do as best they can to accommodate.

I’m in the process of getting braces done with Dr.Terry Farrelly and I cannot recommend him enough, he is so gentle and will always explain everything in great detail. All in all, the staff are amazing. Straight through from Reception, all the Nurses, other dentists and the treatment coordinator. The different treatment options and services are brilliant and lovely to see in a small town as it means people don’t have to travel far to avail of them.

Great Service
I had to get an emergency appointment and Shields Dental Roscrea couldn’t have made the process easier. Very quick and very helpful.
I’d also like to thank Chloe for how helpful she was and the time she gave to explaining the next steps and payment plan to me. Made for a very pleasant experience (even for someone who is terrified of the dentist).

We have just begun our dental treatment plan with Sheilds. We transferred from the Limerick clinic to Roscrea under Dr Gen (orthodontist). The 5* review is for Chloe who is the treatment coordinator/sales manager. Her attention to detail, customer focus and friendliness made the experience so relaxing and well informed. We left knowing what the next steps were and any details we needed ironed out was followed up on. If you need ortho work done we highly recommend speaking to Chloe for an appointment and a plan.
