I NEEDED A TOOTH REPLACEMENT A A FEW TEETH CROWNED. AFTER A LOT OF RESEARCH ONLINE I MADE THE DECISION TO TRAVEL A TWO HOUR ROUND TRIP TO ROSCREA. FROM THE MOMENT I ENTERED THE BUILDING THE ATMOSPHERE WAS CALM AND RELAXED. I DEALT WITH ANNE IN RECEPTION AND CORMAC WAS MY DENTIST. BOTH EXCELLENT. CORMAC EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME AND GAVE ME OPTIONS AND CLEAR PRICING. IM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK CARRIED OUT AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHIELDS DENTAL IN ROSCREA.

Have had a massive fear of Dentists all my life stemming from an 80's childhood bad dental experience. Those who know, know!
Avoided dentists for years as much as i could get away with but recently i needed a tooth removed due to looseness and the pain was unbearable, so i chose Shields on recommendation from a friend.
Honestly i could not recommend Shields Dental in Roscrea highly enough, they listened and understood totally the fear i had but did everything possible to make it a good experience, as good as you can getting a tooth removed. I have been back with the hygienist since and again totally professional and really made feel at ease. I no longer have the crippling fear of the dentists, and am returning soon for more work to sort my teeth out at last. Its amazing the difference they have made.

So delighted with my experience and service with shields dentist, who are so warm & welcoming and accommodating especially as I requested a last minute booking.Friendly receptionists are so friendly,smiling & helpful. Dental nurses are so caring and attentive and the Dental surgeons are amazing and sensitive to the individual needs especially given I haven't been to the dentist in a number of years. They offer a wide range of options available and highly skilled team to advise on any treatments.

I phoned Shields Denistry yesterday in Roscrea i traveled from Tipperary town, as I had broken a crown, which was not done there originally, they gave me an appointment for the next day at 2pm , from the staff at the reception desk to the dental nurses and denists, the level of care I got was absolutely fantastic I felt very welcomed and comfortable and will definitely call them my Dentist going forward and will highly recommend them to anyone.
