Went in today for my appointment with the hygienist in Shields Roscrea. I have to say I have never met such a lovely friendly positive cheerful and competent young lady who completed my procedure efficiently thoroughly and most importantly painlessly in a very efficient amount of time.
Customer service like this is becoming a rarety these days . I hope she is treated well by her employees because she is gold standard as were the two lovely receptionists I encountered, one who is there many a year and still remains professional but thoroughly approachable and friendly. I came away feeling I had an overall great experience.

Just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Shiels Dental Roscrea.
My son broke the wire on his braces on Saturday night, his TY trip was on Monday so between worrying about the brace and the thoughts of missing the trip we were all very upset. I spent the night looking for an emergency dentist (as he normally attends St. James’s) and luckily came across Shiels. I called first thing on Sunday morning, and the receptionist was so helpful and fit us in.
The dentist was so engaging as was the nurse and put Adam at ease straight away.
He made a temporary repair until we can arrange a hospital appointment. Even better is the fact he gets to go on the trip!! It might not seem like a big thing, but to a 16-year-old, it means the world.

Tooth extraction
I rang Sheilds dentist in Roscrea on very late notice and they took me within a couple of hours as they had spaces left for emergencies. I was in a lot of pain and the team in Shields in Roscrea completed the extraction in a professional and friendly manner from the minute I walked in the door. I was really happy with my experience.

They're very good to both me and my husband. From reception to nurses and Doctors. Bless them they even put up with my new puppy last yr setting off the car alarm every half hour.. We were parked right outside !!!!

I've been afraid of the dentist for a very long time but since I've went to shield dental clinic it has made me feel more comfortable going to the dentist again they will take you through what ever it is you have to get done step by step and they won't rush you they'll give you all the time you need they are very reassuring very professional and will always try and help you have the best experience while in there care highly recommend shields dental care

Excellent what can I say . I have bit of work to have done on my teeth . I have previously had bad experiences with past dentists . But totally made right decision to come here Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Cormac Shields going to be sorting out my teeth . Reassuranced me could sort out my teeth don't envy him. But honestly he known exactly what needs to be done . Explained it really well and honestly been a very nervous patient I do trust him . Very good with advise and tells you exactly how it is . Would def recommends Shields in Roscrea everyone I have met so been excellent kind and helpful .
